Candy Corn Cupcakes

These candy corn cupcakes are perfect for Fall!!  The batter is set up exactly like a candy corn.  Yellow batter on the bottom, orange batter in the center and then the white icing.  Very cute and super easy!


Ingredients:

*1 box plain white cake mix
*1 cup regular sour cream
*1/3 cup vegetable oil
*1/2 cup milk
*2 eggs
*Food coloring (yellow & orange)
*White icing (I used store bought)
*Candy corn for decorating

I just love the two different batter colors! Nice surprise when you bite into it!
Directions:

*Combine cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, milk and eggs in a large bowl.
*Mix according to cake package instructions
*Divide batter evenly into 2 separate bowls
*Color half with yellow food coloring and the other half with orange food coloring and mix well
*Place cupcake liners in pan and fill 1/4 of liner with yellow batter, then another 1/4 with the orange batter filling the liners to 1/2 full
*Bake according to cake package instructions
*Cool cupcakes completely before icing them.
